Mavado & Vybz Kartel Call End to Gully/Gaza War

Story courtesy of Dancehall.mobi -- After days of speculation that peace is in the air, and that peace talks were well underway, it's now official that the ongoing Gully/Gaza feud seems to be at as an end. Just minutes ago, on the spot updates via Twitter by Mavado's manager – Julian Jones-Griffith – and music promo giant Johnny Wonder, indicate that Vybz Kartel was called on to the stage at the annual West Kingston Jamboree in Tivoli Gardens, and that Kartel and Mavado then proceeded to perform live on stage together.

Below is a photo of the two on stage as well as a video in front of the massive West Kingston crowd; probably the first time in approximately two years that they've shared the stage. It's not the first time that Jamaica's two leading artistes have made peace. Lets hope this one holds.

Now remember... there was NEVER going to be a clash between Kartel & Mavado.. so this 'Peace Treaty' does nothing for Sting!

Now... does this mean will Sting '09 be boring? HELL NO! According to Bounty Killer... even though he is happy that Mavado and Kartel have come to amends
on their lyrical feud, he stated that he STILL has unresolved issues with Vybz Kartel that has to be resolved. He hasn't mentioned what, where and why.
But many believe he is referring to Sting... but we will have to wait and see.

According to the poster, Elephant Man will NOT be clashing Flippa Mafia as people wanted and expected... Bad move on Ele... but we will see.
As my friend Maikal X said.. Ele's career is BIG and he needs to take this opportunity to KILL Flippa once and for all...
Personally I believe Flippa is a weak artist, so Ele would have killed him easy!

The war between LA Lewis (77777777777) and Mr. G aka Goofy will be happening however. This should be interesting as Goofy is not known as a "clasher"
and LA Lewis is not known as a "real artist"... but we will see how that goes.
