And of course, I wanna give an upcoming DJ some love (no homo). Goes by the name of DJ Lapser. Here is a quick bio and a new mixtape he just released. The mixtape is a mixture of both old and new music ranging from Dancehall, to Bubbling Beats, Dance, Soca and some exclusive Carnival tunes from St. Maarten! It's his first attempt and he is still new to the DJ arena.
Christopher Tuitt aka DJ Lapser was born on the island of St. Maarten. He was raised there all his life up until July 2008 when he moved to the Netherlands to further his studies and where he started his DJ career. It was never his interest to become a DJ, but it was sparked after attending a party and he saw everyone enjoying themselves and having a good time dancing. That is knew what he wanted to do. His passion for music brought him behind the decks, and on his own he started to teach himself the trade. "My favorite music to mix is Dancehall, Bubbling Beats, Zouk, Hip Hop, House & Soca", DJ Lapser says which makes him quite versatile. The person that influenced and helped him get started with DJing is DJ Skillz, who is also a long time friend. He said Skillz taught him sthe basics and together they formed their crew "Top Class Mixers". So far with good performances in
St. Maarten and a couple places in Holland, they are known for getting the crowd hyped with their unique mixing style.
So without further ado, here is new mixtape, his first and will not be his last. Still new to the game, but will hopefully grow with fame!
